-
Always use the proper size coin or token.
-
Check the hopper for foreign objects, and always ensure that
only properly sized coins or tokens are in the hopper.
-
Keep machine plugged into a surge protector and grounded outlet
at all time.
-
Leave machine on if possible. Turning the unit on and off is
hard on it as it was designed to run 24 hours a day. When idle,
the machine consumes less power than a 75 watt light bulb. And
if you truly must have the machine turned off at night, leave it
on for the entire day the next time it is turned on.
-
Do
not push the test/reset button as you may inadvertently lock up
the machine or alter its settings.
-
Do
not turn the jackpot key unless you have hit the jackpot. Doing
otherwise may lock up the machine or alter its settings.
-
Always wait for the machine to complete its self test functions
(reels spin, bill validator motors turn, etc.) each time the
door is closed. Each time you open and close the door, the
computer is reset.
-
Do
not remove the coin from the coin comparator on the interior of
the door.
-
Run a cleaning strip through the bill validator once or twice a
year. This is also a good idea if you are having a lot of bills
rejected. Most problems with bill validators are due to dirty
optics or mechanisms.
-
Watch for bulbs or lights that may burn out and replace as
necessary. Many gaming machine bulbs are odd shapes and can be
difficult to find. Check out our
PARTS & MISC pages for available stock.
-
Keep exterior of the machines clean and free from dust with a
mild detergent. Windex®
can be used to clean the glass.
-
Do not put dirty or disfigured coins into
the machine.
-
Always keep your hopper at least half-way
full. When you hit 'Cash Out' the machine must pay out all
credits accumulated.
-
In the event of a malfunction, open and
close the door. This will reset the machine and can clear most
malfunctions.
